UESF (Utility Emergency Services Fund) – Philadelphia only

UESF (Utility Emergency Services Fund) is available only in Philadelphia. To prevent utility shut-off this Fund may provide monetary assistance of up to $500.00 for electric, water or gas bills to qualifying residents in Philadelphia.

The following guidelines apply:

  • Applicant must be a Philadelphia resident.
  • Applicant must have received a termination notice or utility is shut-off.
  • Applicant must show proof of responsibility for the bill.
  • Applicant must not be on a payment plan with utility company.
  • Applicant must have applied for LIHEAP during eligibility period.
  • Applicant must not have received UESF assistance during past 24 months.

1 $1,517. $18,200.
2 $2,042. $24,500.
3 $2,567. $30,800.
4 $3,092. $37,100.
