UESF (Utility Emergency Services Fund) – Philadelphia only
UESF (Utility Emergency Services Fund) is available only in Philadelphia.
To prevent utility shut-off this Fund may provide monetary assistance of up to $500.00 for electric,
water or gas bills to qualifying residents in Philadelphia.
The following guidelines apply:
- Applicant must be a Philadelphia resident.
- Applicant must have received a termination notice or utility is shut-off.
- Applicant must show proof of responsibility for the bill.
- Applicant must not be on a payment plan with utility company.
- Applicant must have applied for LIHEAP during eligibility period.
- Applicant must not have received UESF assistance during past 24 months.
